A journey to discover Valternette
Wine has always flowed through the family tree of the Folladors, who have been working in this sector in the Valdobbiadene area for more than 250 years.
Valternette was founded in the 1940s by Giovanni Follador and his wife Cleope, who later passed the baton to their sons Ruggero and Gianluca.
Ruggero, with the support of Graziella, continued to work in the oenological field on the current family property. Today it is run by their son Alberto and his wife Sara, who work side by side.
We chose to name the farm after the hill on which our family meets in the summer to taste wine and chat.
Valternette hill offers a view of what we are, and of the unity that distinguishes us, and it is from here that we appreciate the territory that surrounds us.
We are a winery working in the Prosecco Superiore DOCG field, where quality comes first.
Our painstaking product selection process, respect for nature and its timing, and the care with which we process our grapes, guarantee us excellent results, as dictated by the knowledge handed down from generation to generation.
